Between friends and collegues, industrialists and enviornmentalists, and even nation to nation, there are often heated debates about what to do about global warming. Dire scenarios are relentlessly presented in the media, so the topic is charged and often very personal.
So too, true experts that are intimately involved also disagree about a prudent course of action. But as many economists or engineers will tell you, make sure to apply resources wisely and efficiently for the best outcome.
We acknowledge that there are many global issues to address. Some problems have relatively clear paths toward solution, but need resources, including time. Some, like the threat of global warming, do not have easy paths, and perhaps not enough time.
Nonetheless, we do believe that often the most efficient method to tackle the problem does not exist in the hands of large companies nor within government, but instead with nimble innovators and individuals like you. Sometimes, all that is needed is a little brainpower and collaboration.
Our goal is to bring together thousands of individual collborators (you!) to create a collective power for good and useful planetary change. We hope that by bringing the effort to the individual, creativity and pooling of resources will speed up the process of making Earth better, greener, or simply more efficient, even if there is a difference of opinion about how to get it done.
Thanks for your action and support.
